ELA Map is constantly improving

Pick a place and ask when a planet will rise, set or culminate there. Every moment lays out on a timeline with day and night marked; tap one and the map casts to that exact minute, with one tap back to now. Works on phones, opens straight from any line card, and paid searches now reach 90 days ahead.

From the relocated chart, ask when the moving sky reaches your own relocated angles at that place. Answers arrive as windows — when the influence begins, peaks and fades — shown in the place's local time, and each window can cast the map at its exact moment.

Place names on the map are now selectable. Tapping one opens the same location summary you get from tapping the map itself — photo, quick facts, and how your lines relate to that place — anchored to the place you actually named rather than the pixel you happened to hit. Works on desktop and mobile.

Every chart now opens into its own full-screen page: the wheel, the bodygraph, and a new mandala view, with a reading for anything you tap. Overlay the current sky, compare two charts, cast a Davison relationship chart, step through time or press play and watch the sky move, and compare house systems side by side. Works on phone and desktop.

Add 3 to 5 people to a chart and see how the group's Human Design connects — a spine view of shared functions, a plain-language summary of what's open and what's covered, and highlights where members' gates cross. A preview is visible free; the full read is included with Premium.

The chart mandala's settings menu now has toggles to show or hide the hexagram (I Ching) band and the zodiac band, so you can simplify the view to just what you want to read.

Previously the heatmap panel just went blank once you had three or more charts selected, with no explanation. It now shows a short message explaining why the heatmap pauses at that point.

Three more professional techniques now paint on the chart wheel. Antiscia shows where each planet reflects across the solstice axis, and harmonics and draconic recast the whole chart into a different frame — a transform rather than an overlay, so the positions themselves change.

Find a moment on the map and open it as a full chart, cast for the place you found it for, so its angles are the ones you are planning around. The Chart Lab also gained a timing tab: pick a moving body and one of your own planets, and it tells you when they meet, to the minute. When nothing lands inside your window, it says when the next one is instead.

The full-screen chart gained a quiet shelf of professional overlays. Turn on fixed stars to see the named stars ringing your wheel — sized by brightness, with the ones touching your planets and angles called out — or hermetic lots to place the classical lots on the wheel itself. Up to three overlays combine, and hovering one dims the others so you always know which mark is which.

Three classical timing systems joined the chart page as their own tabs. Profections highlight the activated house right on your wheel for any year of life; firdaria lay out the planetary periods of a lifetime; and zodiacal releasing — a technique most professional software doesn't offer — charts life's chapters and their turning points from the Lot of Fortune or Spirit.

A new chart tab draws the chain of rulership among your planets as a living diagram — which planets answer to which, where mutual receptions bind two together, and where a chain ends in a planet standing in its own sign.

Grand trines, T-squares, yods, grand crosses and stelliums were already detected in your chart's overview — now they draw directly on the wheel as an overlay, thickening the chords that form each pattern so the shape is seen, not just named.

Premium members can now write notes directly on a chart in the chart page — observations, questions, things to revisit — kept with the chart itself.

The chart page can now export the wheel as a clean, high-resolution image — square for the wheel alone or tall with the reading alongside. Pro members export at double resolution without the watermark, and practitioners with white-label branding get their own logo and practice name on the card.

Today now carries your chart itself — the wheel, or your bodygraph when you read in HD — as a badge on the page: beside the headline on desktop, in easy thumb reach next to Go deeper on your phone. Tapping it opens the full-screen Chart Lab.

The Dignity filter gains a Dispositor option that isolates the planets your chart's rulership comes to rest on, so there is an obvious place to begin instead of a map of equal-looking lines. Select one of those lines and the panel now says why it carries extra weight, in plain language rather than a number you have to trust. On the chart wheel those planets are marked, and clicking any planet walks its chain of rulership hop by hop so you can see what answers to what.

Every part of the chart now answers a click. The four angles, each planet row in the positions list, the gates and centres on the bodygraph, the variable arrows and the I Ching ring — all of them open a reading where some were silent before. Readings also open shallow and go deeper on request, so the panel stays quiet until you ask it for more.

Open centres and inactive channels now carry a themed edge so the shape reads at a glance, gate numbers are larger, and every gate and channel segment has a padded target you can actually tap on a phone. Tapping one flashes it, so you know the tap landed.

Selecting an aspect now dims its partner distinctly rather than treating both ends the same, and a new Solo setting keeps just the selected planet's aspects on the wheel. The reading separates what the moving sky is doing from what you have pinned.

The wheel zooms and pans, and snaps back to fit. Controls are grouped by what they do rather than where they were added, contrast was raised across the tier ladder, the transit bar was resized, and the mobile dock wraps instead of running off the edge.

The shareable chart image now includes a positions summary, and optionally the major aspects, in the canonical body order — so the picture reads on its own instead of needing the app beside it.

When your device location and the city you chose during setup disagree, the Today page now names both and offers a one-tap switch, instead of silently picking one.

The dispositor narration on Today now opens with the chain that carries the most of your chart, rather than the first one it finds — so the first sentence is the one worth reading.

The Lots were resolved against a different house system than the chart drawing them, so a Lot could be reported in the wrong house. They now inherit the chart's Campanus houses.

Account deletion was failing for every user: two of the records it erases were never linked to the account, so the deletion could not complete. Both are fixed, the client signs out properly, and there is a plain exit page confirming it happened.

The timing search now has a cue on the pages where a "when" question actually comes up. Daily Conditions carries it beside the date stepper — the stepper asks what a place looks like on a given day, and this asks the inverse — and Today carries it in the tools cluster. Both hand the search the place you are already looking at, so you never pick it twice.

On phones the map's bottom panel now snaps to peek, half, and full heights — and no longer gets stuck minimized.

The live sky band on the Today page is now interactive — tap the zodiac to reveal each sign, tap a planet for its position and aspects, and open deeper detail with one touch.

ELA Map can now follow your device's light/dark setting automatically — or stay pinned to the theme you choose.

The location panel now counts exactly what's on your map, shows what kinds of lines are active nearby, and includes your relocated Ascendant and Midheaven signs on every plan.

Solar eclipse paths of totality now draw directly on the globe — including today's August 12 total eclipse.

Rotate your chart wheel to any rising sign and the map lights up the exact band of the globe where that sign would be rising for you — move the wheel and the highlighted region follows in real time.

The Here & Now page got a ground-up redesign: the daily reading, sky snapshot, and companion map now sit in one continuous flow instead of separate widgets. The map band gained on/off toggles for parans, HD channel lines, aspect lines, and body groups; the Between You compatibility card, the identity summary with a Today bi-wheel, and a Week Ahead preview are all new; and a quiet day now opens its reading by default instead of hiding behind a teaser.

The chart drawer now shows a native aspect grid alongside the wheel, and aspects between planets and the Ascendant/Midheaven angles are calculated and shown for the first time. The Vertex and Black Moon Lilith were added to natal charts, and a South Node display bug that conflated it with another point is fixed.

There's now a page at /updates that lists what's shipped, plus a small marker on /today when something new is worth a look.

Zenith Lines no longer require a paid plan — they're available to every account in both astrocartography and Human Design views.
