Astrocartography for Money: Reading Your Map for Wealth and Work

How to read an astrocartography map for money and abundance: what the Wealth and Fortune heatmap scores, which houses it uses, which lines to look at first, and why no map is a financial plan.

The short version. For money, begin with the Wealth and Fortune heatmap. It scores every place for what you earn, share and gain, using the second, eighth and eleventh houses. Then read the lines that run through the places that light up. A map shows where your chart leans toward resources. It is not financial advice.

What money looks like in a chart

A chart does not have one money spot. The traditional sources the heatmap uses read it through three houses:

  • The second house, what you earn, own and value.
  • The eighth house, shared resources: what you hold with other people, debt, inheritance.
  • The eleventh house, gains and networks: what comes back to you through the people you know.

When a chart is recast for a place, those houses change, and planets can move into them. That is the idea behind the theme.

What the heatmap does

The Wealth and Fortune heatmap scores every point on the globe using those three houses. Brighter is where more of your chart points at resources, in the way the theme measures them.

It is arithmetic on your chart, and the same chart gives the same map twice. Click any bright spot and the panel shows what is behind the score. How the heatmap works has the full method.

The lines to look at next

The heatmap shows you where to look. The lines show you why.

  1. Jupiter and Venus. Traditionally these are the planets of abundance and value. Look at where their lines run.
  2. The planets that rule your second, eighth and eleventh houses. They are different for every chart. The heatmap panel names them for you.
  3. Crossings. A crossing labeled Jupiter MC × Venus AC, for example, names two lines that meet at one latitude. This page explains the classical name.

Read them as terrain, not verdicts. Reading your map, step by step shows how close is close enough.

A different question from cost of living

A cost-of-living map answers where is it cheap. This answers where does my own chart point at resources. They are different questions and a real decision needs both. ELA Map shows climate, weather and a visa indicator beside the astrology for a reason: no relocation decision is only astrological.

What a map cannot do

A map cannot predict your income, pick an investment or tell you a city will make you rich. It is not financial advice. Pay, tax, cost of living and your own skills are things no line overrides. Use the map to ask a better question about a place, not to answer it.

Common questions

No. A map can show where your chart leans toward earning, sharing and gaining, but it cannot predict income, and it is not financial advice. Cost of living, local pay, taxes and your own skills are things no line overrides.
